Many on-line home based businesses are a joke.
Check the health of your online business.
Our observation of the current online home based business market is that it is a joke.
Almost 90% of online home based businesses will never be successful. The main reason for this being that a lot of the owners have very little business
management skills. While few have actual products that someone searching the Internet may want, the owners know virtually nothing about how to set-up
and manage a successful and profitable on-line business.
This is very evident when one looks at a large number of on-line home based businesses. What you find is many of them are MLM, get rich quick schemes
(which none are), viral down line pyramid schemes etc. The only people making any money from these on-line schemes are the individuals that start them
(if they can catch enough suckers).
Truman Capote said there is a sucker born every minute. Anyone who possesses even minimal business acumen would know that none of these programs could
produce any sustainable level of prosperity for the majority of those who sign up for them. Sadly many individuals see these types of ventures as
their salvation and desperately try to rope others in so that they will get even a couple of dollars for their efforts.
Always remember if it sounds too good to be true it most probably is. If you do not believe that then send me $5 and I will make you $5,000 (until the
bubble bursts).
Of the even smaller portion of the online business market that is not one of the above schemes and that is actually based on professional business
principles (practices), the majority of these will also fail. Mainly because they are being started by individuals looking for a quick and easy way to
make a second income.
Many are also started by individuals who have recently been laid off. These are individuals who have basically worked all their lives doing a specific
job in a successful company. They have no idea what is required to actually build and manage an online business. For most of them, their decision to
start an online internet business instead of seeking another job will be a grave error. This is not because they aren’t capable of being successful
but more a result of their failure to learn ALL the crucial factors required to build a successful online internet business before taking on the
challenge.
At the top of the list is knowing how to Market and Promote any online business to ensure it grows and prospers. Added to the fact that some lack the
knowledge and skill-sets to:
• Produce and manage a professional website
• Increase the Search Engine Rankings of their website
• To drive huge volumes of traffic to their website
• Use the power of Blogs or Forum Boards to communicate with current clients and attract new ones
• Take advantage of other applications such as E-Newsletters, Brochures or Catalogues to grow their on-line business.
Just to name a few.
Whilst this Article has been pretty blunt (yet accurate from our observations) we hope that it acts as a wake up call especially to those who want to
have a successful on-line business. There is a lot of help available, some even for free. Our suggestion for those who are serious about building a
successful on-line business….

you're right about online websites
You're right when you say an online website may be a joke. Mine was online for years and was barely seen. Now that I have used your site and analyzed
my site I knew which steps to take to improve it. I did what I could myself and you helped with the rest. What a difference. More people should take
this survey and see where they need to improve their sites. A little time and money spent now would see drastic increase in traffic ( and income).
Time to kick some butt and push your website into the forefront.
